Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms form an agreement between you and TipSplit (operated by Mathias Tessier) ("TipSplit", "we", or "us"). If you are using TipSplit on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance according to the pricing displayed at checkout. Taxes, if applicable, may be added. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with operations.
• Do not upload or transmit malicious code, unlawful content, or content that infringes rights.
• Use TipSplit only for lawful business purposes in accordance with applicable regulations.

5. Intellectual property

TipSplit and its content, trademarks, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service during your subscription.

6. Confidentiality

Each party agrees to protect confidential information received from the other and use it only for purposes of providing or using TipSplit. This obligation does not apply to information that is public or independently developed.

7. Third-party services

TipSplit may integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party products, and your use of them is governed by their terms.

8. Disclaimers

TipSplit is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation or that outputs will meet specific compliance requirements.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TipSplit is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold TipSplit harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

11. Termination

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if continued access poses risk to TipSplit or other customers.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
